Food was good, service even better! Had broccoli and cheese soup that was delicious, garlic Parmesan wings, and got their famous Boagie! Sooo good! They should add bacon and lettuce and tomato to the boagie, but I guess I could do that myself next time! Gonna try the pizza I keep hearing about next time I pass through. The music albums and history on the walls is great!! Really makes you feel like you're back in that time! I will be back!
Delicious food! Try their square pizza. The crust is light and airy and their pizza is delicious! Also try their Sweet Hot wings or wing bites. Very delicious!
Don't have any idea why there are such bad reviews--it seems to me that someone wants to sabotage the new owners. But the pizza is GREAT--better than it ever was. This is "Savo's style" pizza not the limp, greasy round stuff with rubbery cheese which passes as pizza in most chain style pizza shops including DeMuro's. Nor is it Old Forge style (which is delicious), but is Pittston style with soft cheese that melts into the sauce, no onion, on crispy rectangular cuts. It tastes like it did in 1965 except back then the slices I ate in the shop on South Main Street were cut into squares not rectangles.
I had pizza and wings they were awesome..plus the one who served us was a awesome person.. Leslie..the cook Mike came out and very friendly and socialble..
Been enjoying pizza at Savo's for 35 yrs. They have other great items too. They have never let me down.
